There are many opportunities in Ardler to enjoy an active leisure time. Although many activities take place in the
Ardler Complex there is also a wide choice of outdoor sports in the area :-
- Bowling club: The Ardler Bowling club welcomes visitors throughout the
season and has an active Winter indoors program. The Club has enjoyed
success recently in area competitions and continues to be an asset to the
area.Ardler Bowling Club, Turnberry Avenue. Open to everyone from April to
September for Outdoor bowls.
Golf: Downfield Golf Club. Right on our doorstep lies this picturesque golf
club from which Ardler Village was originally established. www.downfieldgolf.co.uk
- Walking: Ardler is a popular starting point for walks to Templeton,
camperdown, Clato Woods and the Sidlaw Hills. The Ardler Walking group set off
every Wednesday at 1pm from the Ardler Complex on turnberry Avenue for short
walks (1-2 hours) in the local area. at the Ardler.

- Football: Ardler has 2 full size pitches and one 7-aside pitch available for
hire through Dundee City Council, Communities and Leisure Departments.
- There are a number of play facilities for young people including a Multi Sports Pitch,
Youth shelter and 2 sets of play equipment.
