The aim of the Urban Ranger – Ardler project is to support the regeneration process in Ardler by helping the community to recognise and develop their local natural heritage. This involves caring for the wildlife that lives in Ardler by supporting the community in projects that enhance the local environment. The urban ranger also works to promote understanding and awareness of the environment.
A management group and a three-year management strategy support the work of the Urban Ranger – Ardler.
The project is funded by Communities Scotland through the SIP (Social Inclusion Partnership) fund until 31st March 2006.
