The Dundee Healthy Living Initiative is a Community Development and Health Project that has been running since 1998. It helps local people identify their own needs and solutions to health with the aim of:
Support local responses to health issues
Facilitate changes to community based health services
Provide local health advice and information
Ensure community health needs influence policy and service development
Based at the Ardler Complex & Ardler Clinic the Project delivers
Healthy Eating Courses
Stress Management
Physical Activities
Health Information Points
Training for local people and workers
Establishing local health forums
